Another director Murthy turns hero

Director Murthy who was in charge of film like ‘Vedikundu Murugesan’ and ‘Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar’ is also doing what his contemporaries have taught him. After directing a few films never mind to put on the paint if you don’t get the hero of your choice for your next.

Recently Murthy had narrated two stories to Sasikumar with the intention of roping him into the project as the hero. Sasikumar liked both the scripts but wanted something more like ‘Naadodigal’. After a few days Murthy again approached Sasikumar with another novel script and this time Sasikumar was floored. But again there was a hurdle. Sasikumar checked his diary and found his dates were not forthcoming for Murthy. After his current film with Samuthirakani, Sasikumar has committed a film for Ocher studios.

After realising the reality, Murthy has made a decision to play the hero himself in the film which will be his third directorial venture. Murthy had already faced the camera once for his friend Adhiraj who is directing the film ‘Ramar’ now. Murthy is the villain in it.
