There is sea shore in a place called Dharmadam in Cannanore in Kerala State. Harish’s house according to the story was near the sea shore. We were shooting a sequence where Harish and Amala Paul will sail in a boat.
We were shooting this scene for 5 days. As per the sequence Amala was supposed to fish. Technicians also accompanied in 5 boats. There was also a team consisting of four members to assist us if anything untoward happens.
When Amala was fishing her leg tripped and she fell into the sea. She had gone into great depths. She also does not know swimming. The rescue team jumped into the sea and saved her. She had consumed lot of sea water. She was given medical treatment immediately. Because of this incident, there was some commotion at the shooting spot.
