Kushboo says that she is not against Bollywood actresses

Kushboo recently while speaking on the occasion of the audio launch of Vezhuthu Kattu produced by S A Chandrasekaran mentioned that why producers are going after Bollywood actresses to make them act in Tamil films.

This speech irritated some of the top Bollywood actresses. Now Kushboo says that she was not against Bollywood actresses. While explaining this, she said,” A Tamil actress has been made to act in the film Vezhuthu Kattu.

I said that there are beautiful girls in Tamil Nadu and why should they leave them and go to Mumbai. I have not spoken anything against them. If you have real talent and hard work, then only you can succeed in cinema.

Earlier days Simran and Jyothika were successful because of their talents. After them actress like Trisha, Asin and Nayanthara have become popular. New faces Abhinaya and Anjali have also become popular now. Tamil actresses win only if they are able to act glamorously.

Since Tamil actresses are reluctant to act in glamour roles, the producers go Mumbai in search of actresses there. Now a days it is very difficult for a Tamil actress to withstand. During my days I have acted with all the heroes. But these days’ heroes want to the change the heroine in every film they act. Heroines are used for only three scenes”
