Varalakshmi says that her father is her guide

Varalakshmi who is the daughter of Sarath Kumar is debuting as heroine in the film Poda Podi which has Simbhu in the lead role.While speaking to the media she said,” The shooting of the film Poda Podi is to commence soon.

I am very much eagerly waiting for the day to appear before the camera as an actress. I have completed my MBA and also have undergone acting course. I cannot say that I got the interest for acting because of this.

Poda Podi is a romantic film with all the commercial ingredients. The story of the film is about the lovers who want to dance throughout their lives.

I was selected for this film because I know dancing. My father Sarath Kumar is my guide. He has given me full freedom. I am now listening the story for my next film. I have decided to don one film at a time.
