Making a move without rehearsal is an atrocious deed says Kamal Haasan. Manmadha Ambu is the title of the film produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner Red Giant Movies.
Kamal has written the screenplay and dialogues. He is also doing the lead role in this film. K S Ravi Kumar is directing this film. Trisha, Madhavan and Sangeetha are sharing the screen with Kamal Haasan. The press meet was held yesterday at AVM Studios. Kamal speaking on this occasion said,” A film will be successful if there is good coordination between the director and the producer.
If you go to the hair dresser, you should have full faith in him and give your head with confidence. In the similar way the producer must have full faith in the actors and give them their freedom. If this is not feasible then the producer becomes a director and the director becomes a producer. Cinema is team work. I have being telling for many years to have rehearsals before going to shoot. But nobody bothers about this.
People are rehearsing for 40 days for a stage play which is being conducted at a cost of Rs 4 Lakhs but for a film which is being made at a cost of Rs 40 Crores, people do not rehearse for 4 days also. It is an atrocious deed when we say that we can take care at the shooting spot.
That is why we have conducted full rehearsal before going for the shooting. Only if we rehearse and shoot, then only the producer will earn the profit and the audience will get a good film.”
