Shruthi Haasan says that her father Kamal Haasan is her role model

Kamal’s daughter Shruthi Hassan is pairing with Siddarth in a Telugu film. She has also been signed to pair with Surya in a film directed by A R Murugadoss. When speaking about her cinema experience, she said,” Siddarth is a very good actor. He is also a good friend of mine.

There are lots of rumors about us because we both are acting in a film. There is only friendship between us. There is nothing else. I don’t take the rumors seriously. I was signed to pair with Surya in a film to be directed by A R Murugadoss.

I am very happy because I am a great fan of Surya. I feel like flying in the air. Our pair will be very good. My first film I have acted in Hindi was Luck. Though this film did not do well at the box office, this film identified me as an actress.

I am getting lot of offers in Hindi. I will make announcements when things are finalized. I suffered a lot when I shifted my hosue to Mumbai. I did not want to part away from Chennai. My father is the role model for me. I have seen his acting right from my young age. He has told that we cannot learn acting but it should be within us.

Many are asking me which I like whether it is acting or singing. It is like asking which child I like among the two. I have no objections about the relationship between Gowthami and my dad. We are happy that Gowthami has come into our lives. Whatever decisions My dad makes, I will support it.”
