Natural sound for Maina

The shooting of Maina directed by Prabhu Solomon has come to an end. While speaking to the media, he said,” New faces Vidarth and Amala Paul are in the lead roles. The story of the film happens in dense forests. Because of this we have not used sets and artificial lights.

We shot the whole film in natural lights. It was challenging to shoot in the forests. We did not have any basic amenities including caravan. We have camped in the forests by pitching tents and shot this film. It was a thrilling experience to shoot the film and at the same time protecting the unit members from wild animals.

The whole film has been completed. Dubbing and editing work has also been completed. Now the sound mixing work is going on. We have used the natural sounds. This film will be a new experience for the audience.”
