Motivating young directors is the aim of Mammooty

Mammooty is acting in a Kannada film titled Shikari directed by Abay Simha. While speaking about this, he said,” This is my first Kannada film. I don’t know to speak Kannada.

But I have read translated Kannada literary works. Many are asking me that why I am acting in this film. My aim is to motivate young directors. So far I have acted in 15 Malayalam films directed by new directors.

Now they have all become popular directors. There is also selfish motive to work with new directors. I will fulfill the style and scenes according to my wish through them.”
