Madhrasapattinam is a tragedy like Titanic, we hear. Well, it is not a story based on a ship but is set in the pre-independence era. Sources report that the film is based on the pre-Independence era during which the Arya, a son of a dobhi, and a British lady (played by Amy Jackson) in love.
